Six Month Wedding Anniversary Session in Franklin, WI at Lions Legend Park

Lindsay & I met back in January 2023 when she hired me to assist and second shoot for her at Rachel & Grant's wedding. (Lindsay is wedding photographer too) From that day, I knew that Lindsay was someone I wanted to get to know better.

Flash forward to the late summer, it was time to start planning my husband and I's annual October photos. I reached out to Lindsay to see if she wanted to do a session swap - and she agreed! We'd never met each other's husbands but the four of us met up halfway in Franklin, WI at Lions Legend Park for our swap. Lindsay & Noah absolutely crushed it! They did so good, and we had so much fun in the process!

Once we had started, we realized the significance of the timing - it coincided with Lindsay and Noah's six-month wedding anniversary. (They tied the knot in April, down in Tennessee) And for my husband and I, October is the month we got engaged. We have been getting our photos done every October, since 2019. It's such a meaningful tradition and I hope we never miss a single October for the rest of our lives.

Once we had finished up, we felt like we hadn't had enough time together, so we extended our evening enjoying dinner and a double date. We got to talk business as our husbands bonded! Seriously, so much fun!
